The house rules for using this site

Short, plain-English terms for doge-coin.finance: what we provide, what we don’t promise, and what we ask of you in return. Please read them before relying on any page.

Our buttons open CEX.IO, an exchange running since 2013. In the US it is registered with NMLS (#1804170) and lists money-transmitter licences in 38 states plus DC; in the UK it is registered with the FCA for anti-money-laundering purposes (firm 1007192). Check that it serves your country first.

Updated: 18+. Crypto is volatile and you can lose money. Not financial advice.

Agreement to these terms

These terms of use apply to doge-coin.finance and all its language versions (the “site”). The site is run by an independent editorial project about Dogecoin (DOGE), referred to here as “we” or “us”. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. These terms were last updated on 14 October 2026.

These terms work together with our disclaimer and privacy policy. Where they overlap, read them as one set of rules. If a localised page and these English terms ever seem to say different things, the English terms apply.

What the site provides

doge-coin.finance publishes free guides, country pages, exchange reviews and interactive tools about Dogecoin. You don’t need an account, and there’s nothing to pay. We are not the official Dogecoin website; that is dogecoin.com. We have no affiliation with the Dogecoin Foundation, the Dogecoin Core developers, Elon Musk or any exchange.

We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time, including pages, tools and language versions, without notice. We try to keep it online and working, but we don’t promise uninterrupted availability.

No advice, no services

Everything on the site is general information. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any asset. We don’t hold, exchange, lend or manage crypto for anyone, we don’t execute trades, and we never take custody of your funds. Any purchase of DOGE happens on a third-party platform, under that platform’s own terms.

Dogecoin is highly volatile, and you can lose all the money you put in. Decisions you make based on our content are your own. For a balanced view of the risks, see our page on whether Dogecoin is a good investment.

Live data and tools

Our price widgets, charts, calculators and network stats load data in your browser from public third-party APIs such as CoinGecko, Binance’s public market data, Blockchair and public currency-rate feeds. That data may be delayed, incomplete or occasionally wrong, and it won’t match the exact price, spread or fees of any particular exchange. Calculator results, such as those from the Dogecoin calculator, are estimates for illustration, not quotes or tax calculations. When a data source fails, the tool hides its numbers. Please check figures on your exchange before you act.

The site links to many external websites, including exchanges, regulators and block explorers. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content, security, availability or terms. Your use of any linked site is between you and its operator.

Buttons such as “Open account” link to CEX.IO. That is our editorial choice, not a partnership or endorsement, and CEX.IO is not available everywhere: it doesn’t accept new EU or EEA sign-ups, existing EU accounts are withdrawal-only, it doesn’t serve India or Canada, and New York residents are restricted. Before you open an account anywhere, check that the platform is allowed to serve you; our country guides and exchange reviews help with that.

Acceptable use

Please use the site in a normal, lawful way. In particular, you agree not to:

  • copy or republish our pages in bulk, or present our content as your own;
  • scrape the site in a way that puts load on it, or try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it;
  • frame the site, or copy its look, to make another site appear to be ours;
  • impersonate doge-coin.finance or our editors, for example in scam messages, fake giveaways or fake support accounts;
  • use the site for anything illegal, including fraud or money laundering.

Short quotes with a link back to the original page are welcome, as is linking to any page.

Content and trademarks

The text, layout, illustrations and tools on the site belong to us or are used with permission, unless stated otherwise. You may read, share links to and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Other uses need our written permission.

Dogecoin itself is open-source software released under the MIT licence; its code and name belong to the community, not to us. The Doge meme is based on a 2010 photo of Kabosu, a Shiba Inu, taken by her owner Atsuko Sato. Exchange names, logos and other trademarks belong to their owners and appear on the site only to identify them, which doesn’t imply any endorsement.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about its accuracy, completeness or fitness for any purpose, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, from reliance on its content or tools, or from any third-party site, exchange or wallet you use. That includes trading losses, lost coins, missed opportunities and fees. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, including any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page; continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms. Questions about these terms? Email support@doge-coin.finance, or read more about who we are. New to all this? Our Dogecoin explainer and buying guide are good places to start.
