The short version
This privacy policy applies to doge-coin.finance, an independent information site about Dogecoin (DOGE), in all its language versions. We built the site to work without knowing who you are. There are no user accounts, no comment forms, no newsletters and no advertising trackers. When you visit, your browser loads our pages from our host and fetches live market data directly from a few public data providers. A small amount of data is kept on your own device to make the widgets faster and to remember a checklist. That’s about it. Such privacy.
The rest of this page explains each point in detail, so you can check for yourself. This policy was last updated on 14 October 2026.
What we collect
We don’t ask for your name, email address, wallet address or any other personal details to use the site. We don’t run user accounts, and we don’t sell, rent or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
The personal data we may handle is limited to two things: the technical request data that any web server receives (see hosting logs), and whatever you choose to send us by email (see when you email us). We never ask for seed phrases, private keys or exchange logins, and you should never send them to anyone, us included.
Cookies and tracking
We currently use no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. We don’t use ad pixels, social media trackers or fingerprinting scripts, and we don’t build profiles of visitors. Because of this, you won’t see a cookie consent banner on our site.
If that ever changes, for example if we decide to add privacy-friendly analytics, we will update this policy first, say which tool we use and what it collects, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Storage on your device
Some interactive features use your browser’s built-in storage, called sessionStorage and localStorage. This data stays on your device. It is never sent to us, and we can’t read it.
We use it for small conveniences only. First, short-term caching of live data: when a widget fetches the DOGE price, network stats or currency rates, the result is kept in sessionStorage for a short time (a couple of minutes for prices, up to an hour for currency rates) so the next page you open doesn’t have to fetch everything again. It disappears when you close the tab. Second, the buying-quest checklist: on pages such as the how-to-buy guide, the boxes you tick are saved in localStorage so your progress survives a reload. Nothing in it identifies you; it’s a list of ticked and unticked boxes.
You can clear this data at any time through your browser’s settings for site data. Private or incognito windows usually discard it when you close them. The site works fine without it, just a little slower, and the checklist will start empty.
Third-party API calls from your browser
Our live widgets, like the chart on the Dogecoin price page, the DOGE calculator and the network pulse on the network page, don’t get their numbers from our server. Your browser requests them directly from the public data providers below.
| Provider | Domain | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| CoinGecko | api.coingecko.com | DOGE price, market cap, volume, coin data |
| Binance data API | data-api.binance.vision | Backup prices, charts and 24h market data |
| Blockchair | api.blockchair.com | Dogecoin network stats such as blocks and fees |
| jsDelivr currency API | cdn.jsdelivr.net | Currency rates for local prices |
| open.er-api.com | open.er-api.com | Backup currency rates |
These requests carry no personal data from us: no name, no email, no identifier. But as with any web request, the provider receives your IP address and standard browser information such as user agent, and may log it under its own privacy policy. We don’t control those providers. Their policies are linked in the sources below. If a provider is blocked or down, the widget simply hides its numbers.
Hosting logs
Like every website, our pages are delivered by a hosting provider whose servers record basic technical data for each request: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page and browser type. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and keeping the site running. We don’t use them to identify or profile visitors, we don’t combine them with other data, and they are kept only for a limited period before being deleted under the host’s standard retention rules. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
When you email us
If you write to support@doge-coin.finance, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. We use this only to reply, to check and fix the issue you raised, and to keep a record of corrections. We don’t add you to any mailing list, and we don’t share your message outside our team unless the law requires it. We delete correspondence once it’s no longer needed, usually within two years. Please don’t send us sensitive personal data, and never send a seed phrase or password.
Links to exchanges and other sites
Many pages have buttons that link to CEX.IO, and our reviews and sources link to other exchanges, regulators and block explorers. When you click one, you leave our site. Whatever you do there, including signing up, identity checks or payments, is governed by that site’s own privacy policy, not ours. We don’t receive any of the information you give them. Our links carry no personal data about you.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK, data protection law such as the GDPR gives you the right to ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Similar rights exist in many other countries, including Brazil’s LGPD and Turkey’s KVKK. In practice, the only personal data we hold is in emails you’ve sent us, so the easiest way to use these rights is to email us from the same address. We’ll answer within one month.
You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. In the EU, the European Data Protection Board lists the national authorities.
Changes and contact
We’ll update this policy when the way we handle data changes, and we’ll change the date at the top of this page when we do. Big changes, like adding analytics, will be explained here before they take effect. Questions about privacy? Email support@doge-coin.finance. You can also read our terms of use and disclaimer.
