Quick verdict
Bit2Me Dogecoin buyers get two things that are hard to find together: a full MiCA licence from Spain’s CNMV, passported to every EEA country, and a DOGE/EUR order book busy enough to rank among the top three euro venues for Dogecoin on CoinGecko on 14 October 2026. The company is Spanish, the support is in Spanish, and SEPA transfers are reportedly free.
What holds it back is paperwork you can’t see. We could not locate an official, readable fee schedule; the old fees address redirects to Bit2Me’s legal site. Every fee figure on this page therefore comes from third-party Spanish reviews and is marked as reported. Our score is 7.5 out of 10.
Who is behind Bit2Me
Bit2Me is the brand of Bitcoinforme S.L., registered at Calle Germán Bernácer 69, 03203 Alicante, according to the ESMA register. The company was founded in the mid-2010s; we could not confirm the exact year from a primary source, so we won’t print one. It offers a simple wallet app for buying, selling and swapping, a Pro trading screen, and extras such as Bit2Me Pay for sending crypto between users.
Bit2Me’s own site calls it the “first Spanish Fintech to obtain the MiCA License”. The register dates back that claim up: its authorisation came more than eight months before Spain’s transition period ended.
Bit2Me MiCA licence: what the register shows
MiCA, the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, has applied to crypto service providers since 30 December 2024. Spain gave existing firms 18 months of grandfathering, which ran out on 1 July 2026. Since then, only authorised CASPs (or banks and investment firms that notified) can serve Spanish retail clients.
We downloaded ESMA’s interim register on 14 October 2026. Bitcoinforme S.L. appears with an authorisation from the CNMV dated 31 October 2025 (last updated 3 November 2025), and the passport column lists Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Finland, France, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia and Slovakia. In plain terms: a resident of almost anywhere in the EEA can use Bit2Me under the same licence.
There’s a small irony worth knowing. CEX.IO, an exchange mentioned elsewhere on this site, runs its EU business through a Madrid company too, but its CNMV application was still under review on 14 October 2026, so it is not onboarding new EU users and existing EU accounts are withdrawal-only. Bit2Me cleared the same regulator’s bar almost a year earlier.
The DOGE/EUR market on Bit2Me
We checked Bit2Me’s public trading gateway on 14 October 2026. The DOGE/EUR market was enabled, with about 10.8 million DOGE traded in 24 hours, roughly €0.80 million. The DOGE asset record names the network as DOGECOIN, meaning deposits and withdrawals use the native chain rather than a wrapped token, and a DOGE/USDC pair also exists. CoinGecko put Bit2Me’s DOGE volume at about $880,000 that day, behind only Bitvavo and Kraken among euro venues.
The same market configuration shows maker and taker fee fields set to zero. We don’t know what those fields mean in practice, and the reported Pro fees are not zero, so please don’t read this as “free trading”. The minimum order size could not be confirmed either.
Volume matters for a Dogecoin buyer because a deeper book means a tighter gap between buy and sell prices. To see what a given euro amount is worth at the live rate, try our Dogecoin calculator before you place the order.
How to buy Dogecoin on Bit2Me
The flow is the usual one for a regulated exchange. Our step-by-step buying guide covers the general version.
Register and verify
Open an account and complete identity checks. MiCA requires the CASP to know its customer before funds move.
Fund with euros
SEPA transfers are reportedly free. Cards are faster but reportedly cost about 1.99% with an EU card.
Pick the screen
In the wallet app, choose DOGE, enter euros and confirm (about 0.95% plus spread, reported). On Pro, open DOGE/EUR and place a limit order.
Review the result
Compare the DOGE received with the market rate so you know your real cost.
Withdraw if you hold long term
Send DOGE on the Dogecoin network to an address starting with D. Read the fee on screen and send a test first.

Bit2Me fees (as reported)
We tried the obvious places for an official fee page. The fees address redirects to legal.bit2me.com, and we could not locate a readable table there. The figures below come from three Spanish review sites checked on 14 October 2026 (Bankkers, Finantres and Rankia). They broadly agree on the simple-buy and card fees, but not on Pro rates, so treat the whole table as indicative.
| Item | Reported fee | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Simple buy / sell / swap | About 0.95% + spread up to ~1% | Reported; level discounts apply |
| Card purchase (EU card) | About 1.99% | Reported; non-EU cards reportedly 4.99% |
| Pro, entry tier | About 0.60% taker / 0.50% maker | Reported by Rankia; other sources differ |
| SEPA deposit | Free | Reported |
| SEPA withdrawal | Free, minimum €10 | Reported |
| Inactivity | About €10 a month | Reported; check the terms |
| DOGE withdrawal | Not published | Check the withdrawal screen |
On a €200 card purchase through the simple app, those reported rates would add up to roughly €3.98 for the card plus €1.90 base fee, plus a spread of up to about €2: somewhere near 4% in total. Funding by SEPA and placing a Pro order would cut that to about €1.20 at the reported 0.60% taker rate. Such difference, very worth checking in the app before you trust our arithmetic.
The reported €10 monthly inactivity fee deserves a mention: if you buy DOGE once and forget the account, it could quietly eat into a small balance. Confirm the current terms in your account.
Deposits and withdrawals
Euros in. SEPA transfers and bank cards are the confirmed routes, with Apple Pay and Google Pay common among Spanish exchanges. Bizum, Spain’s favourite payment app, is a different story: we could not confirm Bizum as a deposit method at Bit2Me or any other exchange. Bit2Me Pay sounds similar but is a crypto-to-crypto transfer feature between users. Our guide to buying DOGE with a card explains the real cost of card funding.
Euros out. SEPA withdrawals are reportedly free with a €10 minimum. Sales count as a taxable event in Spain, so keep records; the selling guide walks through the cash-out steps.
DOGE out. Bit2Me does not publish its DOGE withdrawal fee in a place we could read. Use the native Dogecoin network, double-check the first and last characters of the address, and keep long-term coins in a self-custody Dogecoin wallet.
How Spain taxes your DOGE
Gains from selling DOGE for euros, and from swapping it for another crypto, go into the savings tax base. The Agencia Tributaria’s IRPF manual confirms the treatment; rates for 2025–2026 in common territory are below, while Navarra and the Basque Country have their own scales. More on the Dogecoin in Spain page.
| Gain band | Rate |
|---|---|
| Up to €6,000 | 19% |
| €6,000 to €50,000 | 21% |
| €50,000 to €200,000 | 23% |
| €200,000 to €300,000 | 27% |
| Over €300,000 | 30% |
Security record
We found no reported hack or loss of customer funds at Bit2Me. As with any exchange, that is the absence of a known incident, not proof of perfect security. The stronger evidence is structural: as a MiCA CASP, Bitcoinforme S.L. is supervised by the CNMV and must segregate client assets and follow custody and complaints rules.
Most DOGE losses happen at the user end: phishing pages, fake support chats and “recovery” services. Our Dogecoin scams guide shows what they look like.
Pros, cons and our score
👍 What we like
- CNMV MiCA licence (31 Oct 2025), passported to all EEA states
- Spanish company with Spanish-language support
- DOGE/EUR among the three busiest euro DOGE books (CoinGecko, 14 Oct 2026)
- Native Dogecoin network for transfers
- SEPA reportedly free both ways
👀 What to watch
- No official fee schedule we could verify
- Simple buy reportedly ~0.95% plus spread
- Card purchases reportedly 1.99% or more
- Reported €10 monthly inactivity fee
- DOGE withdrawal fee not published
Using our rubric (regulation 30%, DOGE fiat access and liquidity 20%, fees and transparency 20%, security record 20%, DOGE features 10%), Bit2Me earns top marks on regulation and good marks on DOGE liquidity and security. It loses most of its points on transparency: an exchange this well licensed should make its fee table easy to find. That gives 7.5 out of 10, half a point above Young Platform thanks to the wider passport and deeper DOGE/EUR book.
A credible, properly licensed EU venue for Dogecoin in euros. Fund by SEPA, use Pro if you can, and read the fee screen in the app, because nobody else will show it to you.
Alternatives and who it suits
Bit2Me suits Spanish residents who want a domestic regulator and Spanish support, and EEA buyers who like a liquid DOGE/EUR market. It suits less well anyone who wants every fee published up front, or who might leave an account untouched for months.
If fee transparency is your priority, our Bitvavo review covers an AFM-licensed exchange that publishes maker and taker rates and a DOGE withdrawal fee. The Bitpanda review covers a broker-style alternative passported to Spain, and our Coinbase review covers the global option. Every venue we score sits on the exchange reviews hub.
Questions people ask
Can I buy Dogecoin on Bit2Me?+
Yes. Bit2Me’s public API showed an active DOGE/EUR market on 14 October 2026, plus a DOGE/USDC pair, and the DOGE asset record names the native Dogecoin network. About 10.8 million DOGE traded on DOGE/EUR in the 24 hours we checked.
Does Bit2Me have a MiCA licence?+
Yes. Bitcoinforme S.L., the company behind Bit2Me, appears in ESMA’s MiCA register as a CASP authorised by Spain’s CNMV on 31 October 2025, passported to every other EEA country. Bit2Me describes itself as the first Spanish fintech to obtain the MiCA licence.
What are Bit2Me’s fees for Dogecoin?+
We could not find an official fee schedule; bit2me.com/fees redirects to the legal site. Third-party Spanish reviews report about 0.95% plus a spread of up to around 1% on simple buys, 1.99% for EU cards, free SEPA transfers and Pro fees of about 0.60% taker and 0.50% maker. Treat these as reported, not confirmed.
Is Bit2Me safe?+
Bit2Me is supervised by the CNMV under MiCA, and we found no reported hack. Regulation does not remove market risk or account-takeover risk, so use two-factor authentication and keep long-term DOGE in a wallet you control.
Can I deposit with Bizum on Bit2Me?+
We could not confirm Bizum as a euro deposit method at Bit2Me or any other exchange. Bit2Me Pay is a separate crypto-to-crypto transfer feature, not a Bizum top-up. SEPA transfers and cards are the confirmed routes.
Bit2Me or Coinbase for buying DOGE in Spain?+
Both hold MiCA licences passported to Spain: Bit2Me from the CNMV, Coinbase from Luxembourg’s CSSF. Bit2Me offers Spanish-language support and one of the busiest DOGE/EUR books; compare fees in both reviews before you decide.
